The Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders is a volunteer snowmobile club maintaining 77 miles of trails on the southern portion of Tug Hill in Lewis County, New York.

    Ways to obtain your membership:

    - www.nysnowmobiler.com Go to Lewis County, then Southern Tug Hill Snowmobile Club. Use your credit card, and PRINT OUT YOUR VOUCHER. You are set to go to the DMV!

    - You can also click on the membership tab and that will directly route you to the NYSSA site with our club information already typed in, you'll just need your personal information and you will be able to print your voucher right at home.

  • Truck & Trailer Parking:

    A parking lot is available .04 miles outside of West Leyden on the Osceola Road at the Town of Lewis Village Park. The lot will be plowed by Duane Roberts from the Milk Plant Tavern and Doug Rauscher. No charge for parking but a contribution would certainly help to offset the high price of fuel. Contribuitins can be left at the Milk Plant Tavern.
    A parking lot is also available at the Tug Hill Hideaway located on Fish Creek Road. The Hideaway graciously plows a large lot for truck and trailer parking located right alongside trail C4B. So stop on in and thank the Hideaway for their hard work!

  • 2012-2013 Grooming Statistics!

    Here are some of our grooming totals from the 2012-2013 season!

    This year we started grooming from 12/22/12 and ended on 3/29/13. During this time grooming, we logged in 3,630 total miles of grooming. It took 1,417 total man hours to do this. With this much grooming, our total fuel cost of the season was $17,200. We like to say thank you to everyone who was involved and made this happen!

    For the 2012-2013 season, we had 992 members who joined our club. BIG THANK YOU to those members! Without you guys, we wouldn't be able to keep our groomers going. We look forward to having everyone back next year and please keep an eye out for our $1,000 Cash-Raffle starting this mid-summer! THANK YOU!
